Though the castration is NOT "my favorite thing", i took pleasure out of this sadistic & ironic written story. (6/10)

Whilst the writing style was very acceptable, by the standards of this site, I can't say I enjoyed it at any level. Nor do I feel that the correct spelling of a word (rare as it may be!) justifies a high rating, as is indicated in a previous review. (5/10)

- Howdy,
Thanks for the input - help me out here - what are the standards on this site? Was this too gross or non-sexual. From your input and rating, I can tell you're not too happy with what I wrote. Seriously, help me become a better writer, if you will. Thanxs for your time R/Dave

- To clarify: your writing (grammar, spelling, punctuation) is a reasonable standard in comparison with other content on the site.
As you state "too gross or non-sexual" is accurate, and will make it hard to win mass approval. Readers want to be turned on, not off. However in this case it was simply that the story just didn't strike me as interesting. It also had similarities to one of your previous stories. I can't remember which one but I think it was about 'sausages'.

This one is not for the faint hearted, especially if you are a member of the male race of humans. I applaud anyone capable of correctly spelling the word "throes", and the author pulls off this miracle twice, reason alone for a high mark. However the excellent writing and the utterly devastating and truly bizarre ending merit the rest of my score. This is a brilliant effort using an economy of words; a wonderful lesson in how to write. (10/10)
