Excellent little story, handled as a fait-divers for the guys on the job. Loved the everyday-humor the guys had in their recollection of the events. Makes them 'real' as opposed to some dry slamming-down of the facts. As far as a follow up goes, I don't know... Finally Freddie managed a real short short and now people want it to continue... I'd leave it the way it is. It's excellent, so why risk going downhill... unless you seriously enjoy some skiing, of course. JJ (10/10)

I enjoyed this story and commend Freddie for his effort. The story was realistic in content and behaviour. Loved the punchline and wonder if there might be another chapter for what happens to the reporter and how she enjoyed? her captivity. (9/10)

- Graham, glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for the compliment. I don't have another chapter planned at the moment, but who knows????? Maybe I'll give it some thought.

No real surprises here. It's a story line told often here. Still an oft told tale when told well is worth the repetition (8/10)

- Thanks, Mad Lews. I quite wanted to explore a traditional theme for these sorts of stories but adding just a little twist. Glad you enjoyed it.
