A bucolic tale of domestic violence in old Russia. Starts slow with potential for much more nastiness. |

I liked it like Don flows home from the sea. Might it somehow fit in the original novel? If it somehow pulled a little from the novel about the flowing Don and village life. (10/10)

I have been informed that on Saturday, Rabbit 1 passed away. Why no one has bothered to let people know is a mystery to me. (6/10)

- Jethro, that has been announced on the front page of the site. It just took a few days for people to get over the shock and pull things together.

You have quite a way with words! It was a nicely developed story, although I would like to know more about the husband. I am looking forward to reading more. (9/10)

Brilliant, great capture of the Russian tale feeling and I love the unforced submission. This is one of the best I've seen in some time. I think all it needs is more fleshing out of Simeon (his motivations) and eventually the others, to make it work. It might also be nice to have another dimension to Dasha's character come up over time. She's 100% into her slavery fantasies, and she could be more complex. I'd rate it 8.5 and round to 9 for now. (9/10)

I suspect that you have significant prior writing experience. You did an excellent job of scene description and setting of mood. And honestly, you have a bit of insight into the moody Slav soul. Your writing can serve as an good written counter point to either "Her First Punishment" or other Russian web sites. Keep up the good work. (9/10)

- Many thanks for the kind review. I confess - I saw some pictures I think from the very site you mention and thought of this. As for the slav soul I don't know - actually, another confession, this was a bit of a parody of a classic Russian short story and I think that's the closest I get to slavic insight.

Very good story, you start a little tenuous but quickly get into your mood. The descriptions of both characters and setting bring the reader right there. You work your way forward with a deliberate pace that holds the reader and I do hope you have a bit more for us. My only recommendation would be to look at the very beginning, first paragraph maybe even the first two sentences and consider a different way to start it off. Something to catch the reader right away. (9/10)

- Thankyou madman. I quite liked the first para - I just wanted to get the background out of the way as quickly as possible and it seemd to do that - but I'll think again about how to make it catchier. I guess it's a bit disconnected from the rest of the story.
