Wonder Woman: After the Invasion
Author’s Note:
This was a story that I had wanted to do since 2004 but never did. As much as I am a fan of DC Comics, I never did like what direction DC took when they did the Final Crisis storyline in 2008, but will never complain for their choice of doing so, and always pondered about the future of DC Comics beyond 2013, when Warner Bros loses the rights to the greatest comic book superhero known to man – Superman.
My story is about Wonder Woman and she is a character who I don’t own, since she is the property, the product and the creation of DC Comics, who in turn is owned by Warner Bros, the movie studio who gave us great films such as The Matrix, Sleepy Hollow (starring the lovely actor Johnny Depp) and the Harry Potter films.
As for my story, it is set in a universe parallel to that of the DCU (the mainstream DC Universe), somewhere beyond the timeline of Final Crisis.
In this parallel universe, in the year of 2012, the whole universe is menaced by an alien threat. Planets, like Thanagar, (home planet of Hawkman) had been conquered and even destroyed by them. The Green Lantern Corps had been defeated.
Finally the alien threat appears on Earth’s Solar System. The aliens attack Earth. Since most of the world’s superheroes were stationed in America, as well as China,. Canada, Britain, Russia, Argentina, Japan, and South Africa, the aliens attack those places first, so that no resistance can be made against them when they occupy Earth (that is,. If they choose not to destroy it, like so many other planets).
It was a tough fight. Superman, Batman, Lex Luthor, Vandal Savage, Talia Al Ghul and Deathstroke had to unite most of the heroes and villains already stationed in America, as well as formulate a common strategy to take the aliens down.
The heroes and villains from the other major countries are already prepared to take down the alien threat, once they surface over their air space.
As the aliens also launch attacks against Europe, Africa, part of Asia and the Middle East, Wonder Woman delegates command of the Amazons from Paradise Island to her sister Donna Troy and to Artemis, to help defend Europe, as she would be needed continue giving assistance to the Justice League, and Villains Inc, to fight the alien threat.
The aliens are finally defeated but at a very great price. Most of the world’s superheroes and villains are dead. Half of the Amazon warriors who defended Europe, including Artemis, Donna Troy and all the top warriors who had fought alongside Wonder Woman many times in the past, are also now dead.
The world is a much ravaged place even compared to what it endured in Final Crisis. The United States, Britain, China, Japan, and much of Russia are burnt-out wastelands, with no inhabitants.
As for the Middle East and Europe and Africa, most of the countries and their population had been totally decimated. Only Italy, Greece, Lebanon and sub-Saharan Africa remain, and that life was still the same as usual.
As for Wonder Woman, she still lived in both Paradise island and the “world of men”, except the land of men this time is Italy and she still uses her false secret identity of Diana Prince and live as a writer, writing cheerful Harry Potter or Twilight type fictions, for the young generation (more to give her a sense of comfort writing about a more marvellous world than the one she lives in) and keeps to herself in a flat.
My story is set in the year of 2015 (three years after the invasion) and Wonder Woman is a shadow of her former self, no longer assuming her superheroine role (partly angry with herself for letting her sisters and Superman and Batman die), even losing many of her supernatural skills such as her strong will that could resist anything and even spends nights drinking in bars, getting drunk (impossible at any time before the invasion).
This is a sex story about Wonder Woman, set in a near dystopian future.
I also want to say that this is going to be my last comic book/superheroine story, as I only did this story purely out of someone else’s request .
The Story:
It was a very warm evening in Rome, Italy. There were lots of couples strolling around the streets, as well as groups of people loitering around and having a good time.

“Hey I was wondering when you were gonna asked me if any guys asked her out or tried asking her out!!” Luigi spoke.

“Luigi, you ever had any conversation with her at all?” Silvio asked.
“Oh yeah, when it is just us two in here!! She says she is a writer. Her name is Diana prince. I think she is American but speaks fluent Italian. Told her too bad that America is gone, since it was the greatest country on Earth that many of us Italians used to run away to!!” Luigi said.
“Did she ever tell you what she liked, or what she liked to talk about or what her interests are??” Silvio was curious.
“Well when she is this drunk, like how I know she is now, she likes talking about history, especially Greek history and even told me that she is an Amazon, and that she is not lying!! She invited me once but I turned down, afraid that she might end up breaking my neck, by trying to prove something to me!!” Luigi commented.
“That sounds interesting!!” Silvio said.
Silvio had a wicked thought. A very very wicked thought.
“Do you think she’d remember who I am??” asked Silvio.
“Doubt it!!! But one thing I can tell you, she is a strong woman and she can talks for hours and hours, about Greek history and the Amazons being their best champions!!” commented Luigi.

“Look I would not try hitting on her, unless you want your back broken. See it happen to so many guys around here!!” Luigi commented.

Silvio ordered two glasses of beer and then walked up to Diana Prince’s table, by the corner, placing two glasses of beer on the table and sat opposite her.
“Hi, I heard you are an expert on history and Greek legends and warriors?? Is it true??” Silvio pretended asking Diana prince.
She looked towards him. He could see and remember that she was taller than him; with her black hair tied back in a bun formation, piercing blue eyes and tanned complexion. After all, they don’t get any credit, even when they saved the world many times from villains and instead shift all their attentions and credits instead to male heroes like Superman or Batman!!” Diana Prince sounding more emotional.
“That’s exactly it!!!” Silvio lied.

He thought it would be better to send Wonder Woman back to them and use her own lasso to turn them all into his slaves and that when the time is right, she would bring him over there and he would rule over all the Amazons, as their new Master.
He interrogated her some more, but in her bedroom this time, and she said she often travelled at night, when no one would be able to see her. Unlike the past, she did not want the world to think that she really did survived the Alien onslaught, especially since it would further ruin her credibility as a superhero, when the more famous superheroes like Superman and Batman did die.
