I appreciate writers willing to spend the time on exposition and character development. Book of Evils certainly does that here. But, at a certain point, storytelling needs to be storytelling, and this story gets bogged down in a lot of fuss, slowing the narration to a crawl. The characters' witticisms, for example, are at first clever and amusing, but too much of a good thing becomes distasteful and ineffective. I look forward to the next installment, but I hope it will be less freighted with self-indulgent literary affectations. (7/10)

I love your story. Well written and exciting for those who enjoy tales of girls being hurt, even to the point of murder. I know some dislike these disgusting stories, but, hey, let's enjoy the phantasy. Much better to relieve such perverted desires by story telling rather than action. And the author has left some of his captives to die another day. Well, some of them are still alive. Let's have the next chapter of disgusting cruelty.... Susan. (9/10)

A little slice of heaven from the Evil one. You know the plot of all those buddy movies - two guys from separate sides of the tracks find they've got something in common, and end up saving each others lives, spending hours talking and goofing off, and generally creating mayhem. But not mayhem like this. This story might seem to start slowly, but there's something for everyone who is on the Book of Evils train ride (and what a long bumpy ride it is). Highly recommended. (10/10)
