Chapter 2 - Lisa Checks In
Lisa sat opposite Dr. Baumann. An elderly, benign-looking gentleman, Dr.
Norman Baumann radiated warmth and sympathy.
"Welcome to the Baumann Psychiatric Hospital! I talked to Eddy on the phone.
I've done this sort of thing for him before. There have been no complaints
whatsoever from anyone I've sheltered. They're all alive and well and living
sumptuously at their ex-hubby's expense!"
He eyed her rather spectacular outfit.
"That ensemble makes you too high profile here. Everyone wears a uniform of
some kind. I'll hand you over to Mary. She'll get you a nurse's outfit so that
you can blend right in. Sorry, but it's for your own safety. Then you'll be
taken to our secluded, luxury wing. I'm sure that you'll love the accomodations.
You won't be here for long. Eddy Schumacher works fast his wonders to perform."
Lisa smiled.
"So I've heard. Already, he has my head spinning!"
Dr. Baumann grinned.
"You ain't seen nuthin' yet!"
